Jim left this earth for his heavenly home on September 30, 2022, after a long illness surrounded by his family. He was welcomed into his heavenly home by his mother and father Steve and Hazel Lowery, his brothers Darrell and Bobby Lowery, a sister Elizabeth Munholland and his daughters Debbie Dougan and Tina Roberts along with his beloved dog Crickett. Unfortunately, there was those of us left behind such as his wife of almost 47 years, Linda Lowery, his sons John Clark and his wife Carolyn of Springfield, John Carpenter and his wife Angela of Pasco, Wa. and Terry Lowery also of Springfield. Jim loved his grandchildren, Sahara Turley, Jessica Roades, Haley Lowery and Steven Dougan as well as his great grand children that lovingly called him Gpa. He is also survived by his brother Steve Lowery of Springfield along with many many friends and family members. Jim worked for Plaza Reality as security for 25 years eventually becoming head of security. Prior to that Jim lived in Pasco, Wa. Where he worked for Perfection Letz Paintand served the community as a Police Officer. Jim overcameobstacles in his life such as suffering a shattered ankle and broken back at age 21 and being told he would never walk again, but as Jim liked to do he proved the doctors wrong and lead a full life. In Jims younger days he was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer. As Jim aged he took up knife making and gunsmithing both which he not only had a passion for but also enjoyed immensely and excelled at.
