Jimmie Ray Muller, a devoted husband, beloved father, and skilled mechanic, passed away on June 9, 2025, at the North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville. He was born on July 2, 1957, in Gainesville, Texas, to Jimmie Matthews Muller and Marjorie Collier Muller. On October 3, 1975, Jimmie married the love of his life, Linda Melius, in Panama City, Florida. Together, they built a life grounded in love, strength, and family.

Jimmie worked as a mechanic throughout his life, known for his talent, hard work, and problem-solving spirit. Outside of work, he found joy in building firearms, spending time outdoors, and fishing.

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 50 years, Linda Muller of Gainesville; daughters Carol Lamkin and husband Ed of Era, Jessica Tipton and husband Jason of Marietta, Oklahoma, and Becky Davis and husband Sean of Gainesville; grandchildren Madison Ray and husband Aaron, Lynsey Lamkin, Vanessa Rodriguez, Rhett Lamkin, Makayla Davis, Logan Davis, and Emilie Davis; and great-grandchildren Brantley Ray Lamkin and Raiden Ray Lamkin. He is also survived by his sister Jo Ann Hudson and husband Laren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie Matthews Muller and Margie Muller; his brother, Johnny Lee Muller; and his grandson, Dakota Lamkin.

There will be a visitation on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 6:00 Pm to 8:00 Pm at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville. There will be a celebration on life at a later date.
