Jimmie Simmons Obituary

Jimmie was employed by Escambia Education Association for over 30 years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Pensacola.
She is preceded in death by her husband Lowery Thomas Simmons, a World War 2 Navy Veteran; her brothers Marion Wilson, John Wilson, and her sister Rose Cutrer.
She is survived by Daughters, Gayle Marie Wentz, Patricia June Simmons and Son William Davis Simmons. Her Grandchildren: Thomas Wentz, Audrey Waldrop, Cameron Brown, Leah Simmons-Chinchilla, Eric Simmons, Sarah Milanés. Her Great Grandchildren: Owen Brown, Cash Brown, Kaden Hughs, Abram Waldrop, Noam Waldrop.
A visitation will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens on 10th of November, 2025 from 10:00 AM until the service begins at 11:00AM.
In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, donations may be made to Manna Food Bank, Inc.
The family would like to thank William Simmons, Oxana Simmons, Audrey Waldrop, and Patrica Simmons for their heartfelt care for Jimmie.
