Jimmy married Marilyn Jones, sharing 15 years together. The couple were introduced by two of their siblings and were married shortly after. They had 5 precocious kids and lived throughout Missouri, Arkansas, Colorado, Texas, and Alabama.

Most days, you could find Jimmy outside, tinkering with his cars and listening to music. He loved talking on the phone with his family every day.

Along with 2 other children, Tina and Victor Brewer and their families of MO. from a previous marriage. And his grandson, CJ Vanderbohl of MO.

Jimmy will be remembered for his sense of humor, creative ideas, and his curious kitchen concoctions. He was always up for a joke and a beer. He was good-natured and kind. He will be missed by so many.
