JIMMY WAYNE HARDEE
Jimmy Wayne Hardee, 77, passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday, September 11, 2025. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Mullins Church of God, burial will follow at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church in Nichols. The family will receive friends Friday September 12, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Richardson Funeral Home in Marion.
Mr. Hardee was born in Marion, a son of the late Robert Pearlier Hardee and Gracie Williamson Hardee. He is also preceded in death by his brothers: Carl Hardee, Bud Hardee, Roland Hardee and Dan Hardee and sisters: Romona Floyd, Dale Hardee, Louise Baxley. He was a welder, working with his son, Rodney at Hardee's Welding.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Jean McCracken Hardee of the home; son, Rodney Hardee (Mary) of Marion; daughters, Teresa Shaw (Dwayne) of Marion and Audrea Carter of Marion; brothers, Dennis Hardee (Louise) of Mullins and Wilbur Hardee (Linda) of Fork; sisters: Maebell Rabon, Doris Williamson, Judy Barnhill and Ladosca Hucks (HB); grandchildren: Kory Johnson (Jessica), Brittany Baxley (Adam), Kensey Moore (Thomas), Justin Hardee (Jennifer), Ashley Gasque (Katie McAllister), and Colby Carter; and great-grandchildren: Korlyn, Paisley, Rayna, Delaney Johnson; Emma Wethington, Khloe Hooks, Adaleigh Baxley, Amelia Hardee, Parker Hardee, Kinlee Moore, Noah Moore, Martin and Ashton Gasque.
