Jimmy Lane Moore was born on December 16, 1956 to HT Moore Jr. and Myrtle Lee Neetles Moore whom he joined in heaven on November 4, 2025. He became a stepfather through his late wife Rebecca Jane Fields to Tonya Funderburk, Mechelle Tarrant, and Nicole Bishop.

He was survived by his brothers Gerald Ray Moore, Tommy Archie Moore, David Joseph Moore, and Larry Edward Moore; grandchildren: Leon Tarrant, Robert Hay, Chelsea Lamb, Travis Jacob Tarrant, Miguel Bishop, Anna Bishop, Gracie Funderburk, Jessie Tarrant, Selena Bishop, and Eva Funderburk; great-grandchildren, Jacob J. Clark Tarrant, Adalina Brown, Lance Oliver Tarrant, Aneska Lamb, Brantley Funderburk, Leilani Galindo; nieces Karen, Cindy, Lisa, Denise, Buffy, Liza, and Liyla Ray Sophia and nephew, Adam.

But this doesn't begin to describe the extent of his family. He touched the lives of everyone who came into his life. He was grafted into a family he never imagined and was able to help it grow. He put a smile on everybody's face, telling jokes and always pulling someone’s leg. Jimmy loved to fish, watch westerns, take long rides to see the countryside and rivers, listen to 70s music and think about the good ol’ days.

He will be missed, but it puts a smile on our faces knowing he is in heaven with his Savior, mom, dad, brother James Charles Moore also known by Sonny, sister Shelby Jean Phillips, wife Rebecca Fields and dogs Luke and Little Bit.

The family will be celebrating his life at his home.
