Mr. Jimmy Braxton Parker

Jimmy Braxton Parker, age 90, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at 3:47 PM surrounded by his loving family. Jimmy was born on December 10, 1934 to Earl and Lola Collins Parker. He was married to the love of his life, Deane Hammonds Parker on July 15, 1953. They were married for 68 years.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his loving wife, Deane Hammonds Parker, his son, Ronny Braxton Parker, and grandson, Phillip Jimmy Jones, also his parents, Earl and Lola Collins Parker, brothers, Cull, June, Britt, Dock, Bill, John, Tommy, Shine and sisters, Annie Lee and Peggy.
He is survived by his two daughters, Tammy Jones and Lisa Brantley (Mike) and grandchildren, Kasey Jones, Hailee Jones (Randy), Kayla Young (Logan), Kendall Roach, Kody Roach (Kendall), Misty Parker, Shane Parker (Monica), and great-grandchildren, Landon Jones, Hope Jones, Zane Jones, Wylie Saylor, Nolan Young, Macie Young, Luka Roach, Jaxson Roach, Ansley Parker, Mazie Parker, and Ryan Parker and many nieces and nephews and his sweet dog, Bella.
Jimmy's #1 favorite thing to do in life was mowing his grass on his beloved lawnmower. He also loved NASCAR, listening to the Swap Shop, watching "Pretty Woman" and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved his "Big Dukes" Chewing Tobacco to the very end of his life.
Jimmy was an amazing provider for his family and he proudly owned many businesses in his lifetime including Parker Brothers Motors, Parker Farms and P & P Trucking.
Jimmy was a loving husband, father and Paw Paw. If you knew him, you loved him. He will be greatly missed by all those that loved him so much.
Visitation will be held at Corinth Baptist Church, 3805 Corinth Church Road, Monroe, on Monday, December 29, 2025. Visitation will be at 1 PM followed by his Celebration of Life at 2 PM.
His family would like to thank everyone for all the calls, texts, cards, meals and visits during this difficult time. It means so very much.
