Please accept my most sincere condolences upon the passing of Jimmy (Ray) Wingate. He was always willing and able to come along side of many in our class of 1965 and lend a hand. He will be missed.

A great neighbor and friend. Men like him can't be replaced.

My dad enjoyed meeting new people, and would treat every person he met with the same warmth and familiarity as he did with friends he had his whole life. That's who he was.. The man who walked over to every person in the room asking you how you were, and never let on how bad a day he may have been having. That's not to say he didn't have a temper. He was notorious for it, but later in life he realized how much he was missing by not focusing the good things rather than the bad. He was always a good man, but he became an even better man as a grew older. He was my father, but he was my confidant and my best friend. Not many people can say that, and I feel lucky for being given that gift. I love you daddy!
