Jiqiong Xiao Obituary
Jiqiong Xiao (74) passed on April 16th, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 2nd, 1952, in Fujian, China. He lived his life dedicated to caring for his family. He helped raise his grandchildren from birth, diligently caring for them until his last day.
He was an avid fish caretaker and gardener. He was also an excellent baker and also specialized in the world’s best pork buns. He had a green thumb, able to grow anything. He especially enjoyed growing vegetables so he could share them with all his loved ones. He had a gracious and caring spirit and will be missed dearly.
He is survived by his childhood sweetheart and wife, Saihua (69), his son Meizhang Xiao, his daughters Caiyu (Tianhua) Xiao and Caiyan (Yu) Xiao, and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Indiana Funeral Care on May 1st from 9-10:30 a.m. Procession to the burial will start at 10:30 a.m. He will be buried at Crownland Cemetery.
