Patrick Maghee Barker

Patrick Maghee Barker, 38, of Indianapolis passed away unexpectedly on July 10, 2025 in his home. Patrick was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 20, 1987 to Richard T and Tanya P Barker. He graduated from Pike High School and then Butler University.
Patrick was a member of the Indianapolis Children's Choir and then the Master Singers during elementary and high school. He also enjoyed singing in the choir at Pike High School and Butler University. Most recently, Patrick worked at Johnson Controls in Indianapolis. After graduation from Butler, Patrick taught English language at the University of Science and Technology, Hefei, China. This was Patrick’s third time in China since visiting in middle school.
Patrick was a huge fan of science fiction movies and television. His passion for all things superhero is also well known. His knowledge of the Marvel Universe was extensive and he enjoyed sharing it with others. He was also a huge wrestling fan and really enjoyed Indie Wrestling like Chikara.
Patrick is survived by his mother Tanya, father Richard, his older brother Tommy and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, 3:00 PM.
