Jo Ann Miller, with an amazing heart and soul, left us on September 25, 2025, and we’re still reeling from the loss of the sweetest, most generous, and kindest spirit we've ever known. Born on May 17, 1971, Jo was a force of love, lighting up every room with her warmth and living her life with a fierce and beautiful spirit that many were drawn to.
Jo was our everything—a loving, radiant human who poured her heart into everyone she met. Her fight for sobriety was nothing short of heroic, and we are so proud of her for the strength she showed, turning her life around with courage that inspired us every single day. Her spirituality ran deep, guiding her to a higher truth she shared with anyone lucky enough to cross her path. She had this way of making you feel seen, loved, and understood, no matter who you were.
She poured her soul into helping others, especially through her work with a non-profit for an orphanage in Tanzania—a dream she held close, hoping one day to visit and wrap those kids in her love. Jo was practical, and grew a patience to admire, always working to build something solid for those she cared about. She lived by curiosity, not judgment, and taught us all to approach life with an open heart and authenticity.
Jo leaves behind her five incredible kids and 2 grandchildren —Alexandrea (32), Mackenzie (30), Shelby (28), James (17), and Keith (16)—who she loved beyond measure, with a fierce, unconditional love. They were her pride, her joy, her everything. Her brother, Chris and sister-in-law , Maytee Miller, and her mom and dad, June and Scott Miller. She also leaves her partner, Holley Masch and their bond—MoJo forever—will hold tight until they meet again. Her absence hurts deep, but her spirit’s still here, guiding us, loving us, shining through every memory.
Instead of flowers, please send donations to The Yellow Foundation, supporting the Tanzania orphanage she cared so much about, if interested please contact Holley Masch.
Jo Ann Miller, our diamond in the rough, you’re forever in our hearts.
