With deep sorrow, our family announces the passing of Rose Panzlau on October 6, 2025. She was 90 years old.
Born May 6, 1935, in Racine, Wisconsin, to the late Kalos and Anna Dadian, Rose was raised in Racine and graduated from Horlick High School. She married Donald Panzlau on October 27, 1956, and together they raised their family. In 1980, they moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where Rose worked at Anasazi Elementary in the Scottsdale District, where she was beloved as a "school grandma."
Rose retired in 2000 but remained active with family and friends. She was a devoted and loving mother to her three daughters, who will forever cherish her guidance, humor, and unconditional support. She especially loved teaching Armenian cooking, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, and spending time with her grandchildren, Alec and Kelsey Greene, who will always remember her encouragement, humor, and love.
Survivors include daughters Rebecca (Scott) Allen of Gilbert, Arizona; Laura (Dean) Schuettpeltz of Green Bay, Wisconsin; and Patricia (Garry) Greene of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren Alec and Kelsey Greene of Phoenix, Arizona; sister Margaret Wigman of Racine, Wisconsin; brother-in-law Richard Eaves; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, and her parents.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Hanson Desert Hills Mortuary, Scottsdale. The service will also be live streamed for those unable to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
