May 31, 1937 – October 6, 2025
Jo Ann Cobb, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025, at the age of 88.
Born in Temple, Georgia, on May 31, 1937, Jo Ann was the youngest of her siblings. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Bobby Watson Cobb; her parents, Henry and Lurley Daniell; and her siblings Estelle, Frances, Bobby, O'Neal, and Loyd.
Jo Ann devoted her life to her family and leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Dawn Cobb; her grandchildren, Patrick and Connor Cobb; and her great-grandchildren, Zachary, April, Joanna, and Benjamin Cobb; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Jo Ann was known for her vibrant spirit and creativity. She had a passion for crocheting and a talent for gardening, especially flowers, which brought beauty and joy to those around her. She was also a dedicated member of Crossroads Church of Dunwoody, where her faith and commitment to her community enriched many lives.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jo Ann's life on Friday, October 10, 2025, in the Peachtree Corners Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm with Rev. Mike Fiddler officiating. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home.
Jo Ann will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. Though she will be dearly missed, her spirit will live on in the lives of all who knew and loved her.
