Jo Anne (nee Jank) Muenzmaier, age 84, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, met her Lord on August 20, 2025, at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital in Brookfield, Wisconsin. She passed away peacefully in hospice care surrounded by family.

Jo Anne was born March 17, 1941, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Joseph and Maureta (nee Peterson) Jank. She was the younger sister of fraternal twin Judy, and older sister of Sandy and Jill.

On May 6, 1961, Jo Anne was wed to her high school sweetheart, Carl Muenzmaier, with whom she shared 64 happy years of marriage. The couple had three children together: Lee Anne, Marty, and Kevin. Her devotion to her husband and children was shown daily through her unwavering love and support.

When her children were small, Jo Anne often helped other working families who had early start times by watching their children prior to school, making sure they were safe and ready for the day. Never one to sit still, she consistently sought out new activities and work opportunities, including cake decorator, retail salesperson at Jo-Ann Fabrics, Marshalls and Linens 'n Things, and demonstrator for Stampin' Up.

Jo Anne's warm and generous nature was complimented by a sharp wit and playful spirit that engaged all those lucky enough to be in her presence. Her innate creativity shone brightly in everything she did-from sewing and quilting, to creating cherished scrapbooks to preserve the childhoods of her children and granddaughters, to designing and creating innovative cards for family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Carl; her daughter, Lee Anne (Chris) Christenson; her sons, Marty (Niki Taylor) Muenzmaier, and Kevin (Mary) Dally-Muenzmaier; her two granddaughters, Makenzie and Kelsie Christenson; her three sisters, Judy (Dennis) Kolata, Sandy (Forrest) Aliota, and Jill (Paul Sweitzer) Jank; and many other relatives and friends.

A private service and burial for Jo Anne was held on August 28, 2025.

While she endured several health challenges in recent years, Jo Anne was sustained by her faith in her Lord and Savior, in whose loving arms she may now rest.
