Jo Ann Orgeron Kole

With profound sadness yet grateful hearts, we announce that Jo Ann Orgeron Kole passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by the family she cherished beyond measure.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Lena and Lawless Orgeron; her dear brother, Ronnie Orgeron; her half-sister, Patricia Foret; and her half-brother, Gerald Blank.

Jo Ann leaves behind a legacy of boundless love and tenderness. She is survived by her devoted husband of 32 years, Ronnie Kole, who was the light of her life; her precious daughter, Shannon Cuevas (husband Jerel); her loving son, Michael Mouton, Jr.; her adored grandsons, Christian Mancuso, Zachary Vice, Josh Mouton, and Talen Cuevas; her cherished granddaughter, Alissa Mouton; her stepsons, Kory Kole, Stephen Kole (wife Summer), and Daniel Kole; and her delightful additional granddaughters, Magnolia Kole, Oak Kole, and Cypress Kole.

Jo Ann lived a life rich with love. Her family was her greatest treasure, her proudest accomplishment, and the source of her deepest joy. She had a gentle spirit, a warm smile that could brighten any room, and a quiet strength that inspired everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her kindness touched countless lives, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she held close.

There will be no formal services. The family will gather for a heartfelt celebration of Jo Ann's beautiful life at a later date.
