Jo Melton Obituary
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 1 pm at West Vanceboro Church of God. The family will receive friends following the service.
Jo Ann, a native of Stanly County, retired after 28 years from Collins & Aikman. She moved to Cove City to live with her daughter in March of 2020 and attended West Vanceboro Church of God. Jo Ann loved her family and will be truly missed.
She is survived by her daughters, Cathy Jo Melton of Cove City and Mary Ann Barringer (Devin) of Stanly Co.; five grandchildren, Teresa Keeney, Robbin Edwards, Catherine Morris, Christopher Watkins; and Melissa Ingold; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Vanceboro Church of God, Playground Fund, 2360 NC-43, Vanceboro, NC 28586
