Jo Ann Mow Jo Ann Mow of Oro Valley, Arizona, passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 84. She is survived by her husband Michael; her sister June Hilton Cole of Oro Valley; her son Ed (Shelly) Wood of Placentia, California; and two granddaughters, Camryn (Zack) Bartlett and Carsyn Wood.

Born Jo Ann Hilton on August 23, 1941 in Beatrice, Nebraska, Jo Ann's close family included two elder sisters, Jane and June, and their brother Jarvis. Following various moves, the Hilton family settled in Grand Junction where Jo Ann and her siblings spent their formative years. Briefly married, she then pursued her career in pharmacy and caring for her young son, working in Denver, Lincoln, Nebraska, Chicago and Los Angeles. It was in California working for Abbott Laboratories that she met her husband, Michael. The two enjoyed a 34-year marriage that literally took them around the globe. In retirement, Jo Ann and Michael lived in Kansas City, Steamboat Springs, Santa Fe and Oro Valley. Jo Ann was always resourceful, ambitious and hands-on, with a passion for family, gardening and her cats and dogs. A more detailed obituary and photo gallery can be found at Legacy.com.
