Jo Ann Perdue, age 91, of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away on December 13, 2025. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage, with Bro. Doug Parks and Bro. Don Craighead officiating. The Family will be receiving friends and family on Thursday, December 18, from 4-7 p.m. and Friday, December 19, from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens. Mrs. Perdue is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Perdue; Parents, Charles Henry Gillespie Sr. and Allie Lee Gorham Gillespie; Siblings, Charles Henry "Pete" Gillespie Jr., Joe Foster Gillespie, Mary A. Gregory, and Katherine Barnes. She is survived by her children, Terry Bartlett (Penny) of Gallatin, Tennessee, Frank Lynn Bartlett (Patty) of Gallatin, Tennessee, Linda Kittrell (Zane) of Gallatin, Tennessee, and Carrie Bartlett (Allen Elliotte) of Memphis, Tennessee; Grandchildren, Karson Bartlett (Melissa), Jeremy Bartlett (Jordan), Robert Carter (Audra), Lindsay Jett (Sean), Alison Bartlett Clifton, Kinsley Bartlett, and Kelsey Marsh (Dilan), Zoe Elliotte, and Ruby Elliotte; and 12 great-grandchildren with number 13 due May of 2026. Pallbearers will be Terry Bartlett, Frank Bartlett, Zane Kittrell, Karson Bartlett, Jeremy Bartlett, and Robert Carter. Jo Ann Perdue was a lifetime member of Union Hill Church of Christ. She was also a member of D.A.R. General Jethro Sumner County Chapter for over 40 years. She also lived on her family farm which originated in 1787 as a land grant from North Carolina.
