Jo Ann (Eilers) Struble, lovingly referred to as "JoJo", passed away unexpectedly in Sevier County, TN on Thursday, May 15, 2025. She was 69 years old. Jo Ann was born in St Louis, MO on April 5, 1956 to the late John Eilers and Lorraine (Durall) Bodin.
Jo Ann graduated from Mt. Dora High School in Mt. Dora, FL. She later married Glenn Dean Struble on December 25, 1989 in Sorrento, FL, and remained his loving wife until his passing in late 2021.
Jo Ann was known for her huge love of children and often babysat for the neighborhood mothers. She was a hard worker and helped run Mary's Country Kitchen in Otto, NC for many years, in addition to having a house cleaning business. Jo Ann was a firecracker with an unforgettable personality. She was a member of Newman Chapel Baptist Church and loved singing in the choir. Jo Ann was a beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend to many.
She is survived by her sons, Jerry Fuller of Otto, NC, Scott Fuller of Otto, NC, and Justin Fuller (Melissa) of Sylva, NC, sisters Marlowe Marion of Ooltewah, TN and Jacqueline Williams of Siloam Springs, AR, grandchildren Gavin Fuller, Levi Blanton, Kaol Fuller, and Krayden Fuller, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends she considered family.
In addition to her parents and husband, Jo Ann was preceded in death by her brothers, John M. Eilers and Martin M. Bodin.
Friends and family are invited to join in a celebration of Jo Ann's life, led by Pastor Dennis Ledford, on Saturday, June 7th, 2025 at Newman Chapel Baptist Church, 60 Mulberry Rd, Otto, NC 28763. The visitation will be held from 12:00pm - 1:00pm, followed by a memorial service from 1:00pm - 2:00pm. The family invites you to lunch and fellowship immediately following the service.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude for all of the love and support during this difficult time. Jo Ann will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
