Joan A. Cestone

Joan Ann Cestone, 84, of Oakhurst and Long Branch, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 24, 2026. She was raised in Asbury Park and attended Holy Spirit Catholic Grammar School in Asbury Park and Red Bank Catholic High School in Red Bank. She worked as an administrative assistant for many years at Connolly Campion Wright in Belmar and previously at the Robertson Agency in Spring Lake. She was an avid reader and a diehard Yankee fan. She loved the ocean all her life, played Frank Sinatra songs constantly and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Anne Siciliano and her husband of 37 years, Thomas Cestone. She is survived by her children, John Cestone of Oakhurst and Dina Bergin of Monroe, her son-in-law, Dennis, and her grandson, Nicholas of Tampa, Florida. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026 at 9:30 am at the Fiore-Buckley Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road in Oakhurst, Ocean Township and a Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Deal.
