Joan Dekle Obituary
Joan was the youngest child of Ira and Eula-Mae Griffin and was born in Owosso, MI on 20 Dec 1946. Two years later she and her family moved outside of Ochlocknee, GA. Joan attended school in Ochlocknee before graduating from Central High School in Thomasville. Joan was crowned Ms. Ochlocknee before marriage and started her family. Joan worked in banking, at a nursery, and finally as a podiatrist's assistant. She also later married Hack Dekle, enlarging her family. Joan was active in her community, loved to travel and finding treasures at local rummage sales. Joan is survived by her older brother John Griffin, son Mark Harvey and her extended Griffin, Harvey and Dekle families.
Joan will have a viewing at Allen and Allen Funeral Home in Thomasville Ga this Saturday from 2 to 4:00 PM.
