Happy to have known Joan through Fruitlands.She was a very generous woman who had a love of life and her fellow being that I will never forget!She quite often worked in the Art Gallery at Fruitlands and would say,"I'll be off to talk with Jasper".Refering to Hudson River School artist Jasper Cropsey as she made her way to the building for the day.

Please accept my condolences during this time of distress. While it is indeed sad that you are mourning the loss of your dear Joan, it saddens God more. In the days ahead, you will reflect on seemingly small, yet precious memories. However, take comfort in knowing that just as you have memories, almighty God remembers too. The difference is, unlike humans, only God has the ability to restore perfect life on earth to those in His memory. Notice how the Bible stress this fact in the faith strengthening video Below:
