Joan Floto Obituary
Joan E. Floto, 90, of Franklin Grove, IL passed away on November 28, 2025. Joan was born on October 22, 1935, in Franklin Grove, IL to William and Lucy (Beaber) Haenitsch.
Joan worked for many years in Dixon at a factory and in her later years she had worked at an assisted living facility. She was very active in the First Presbyterian Church in Franklin Grove. She also enjoyed reading, doing crafts, and spending time with her family.
Joan is survived by 4 children, Michael (Betty) Floto of Martin, GA, Kenneth (Sharon) Floto of Lake in the Hills, IL, Linda (Perry) Matheson of Hilbert, WI and Mary Ann (Bill) Foster of Franklin Grove, IL; as well as 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred Floto; and 3 children, Donald, Brenda and Toni.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 106 S. Walnut St. Franklin Grove, IL 61031. A viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m. prior to the 10:30 funeral service on Friday, December 5, 2025. A graveside service will take place at Franklin Grove Cemetery followed by lunch at the Presbyterian Church.
A memorial will be established in her name.
