Sweet Joan, I miss you everyday. Sometimes with tears for missing you and sometimes with smiles for all the times we laughed together. I still hear you in my head and feel you in my heart. I continue to talk to you because I know you hear me. I picture your beautiful smile lighting up heaven. You will always be my best friend and special sister. Until we meet again, our bond remains strong. God Bless You.

Sweet Joan: deeply loved by her family and friends, intelligent, trilingual, traveler, artist, gardener, phenomenal cook, beautiful. A woman of grace, dignity, wisdom, compassion, love, and, lucky for me, my best friend for over twenty years. We shared our life experiences, championed each other's life goals, leaned on each other in times of need, and, oh, how we laughed together. Joan spread joy and love into the world. I was blessed to have her in my life, she made me a better person. I will forever hold her in my heart and hear her voice in my head. I will forever celebrate the incredible woman she was and treasure the friendship we shared. Deepest condolences to her family. Sweet Joan, fly with the angels.
Love, Laura Sabol
