Joan A. Haley 94, died Saturday January 31, 2026 at Rutland Regional medical Center.
She was born March 27, 1931 in Rutland the daughter of Willis Hamilton and Helen (Connors) Hamilton.
Joan attended Mount St. Joseph Academy.
She married Bernard P. Haley Sr. September 13, 1949 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Rutland.
Joan was a member Christ the King Church in Rutland. Her hobbies include coloring, embroidering, making handmade quilts for her granddaughters and spending time with her loving family.
She had been employed as a sales clerk for many years with Beauchamp & O’Rourke Pharmacy retiring in 1995.
She is survived by her children Bernard P. Haley Jr., of West Rutland, Joanne Haley, of Rutland and Kathleen Cain Black (Husband Don), Of West Rutland, four grandchildren, and five great – grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Bernard P. Haley Sr., by her daughter Patricia Hemple, by a grandson, Jason Roberts. Also by her siblings, Rev. John Hamilton, Mary Grace, and Barbara Mazut, Dolores Gray and Patricia Lester
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday February 9, 2026 at 11 A.M. at Christ the King Catholic Church, Rutland with the Rev. Msgr Bernard W. Bourgeois as the celebrant.
Burial will be at a later date in Riverside Cemetery in Proctor.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
