Joan Ingling Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Perinchief Chapels - Mount Holly on Feb. 26, 2026.
Joan M. Ingling of Columbus, N.J. passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at her residence

surrounded by her family. She was 90.

The daughter of the late Raymond and Carrie Durham, born in Vincentown, Joan was a longtime

Columbus area resident. Joan was a proud graduate of Pemberton High School, class of 1954.

She had worked as a seamstress, in Mount Holly, in her early years and later worked as a

machine operator for Britin Plastics, Inc, in Burlington, before her retirement. She loved

crocheting and made many beautiful things through her work. Joan and her husband, Roy,

enjoyed going out to eat and sitting on their front porch people-watching and visits from their

neighbors and friends.

Joan was pre-deceased by her husband of 69 years, Roy Ingling, in April of last year and her son,

Keith in 2009, a brother, Raymond "Sonny" Durham, and two sisters, Ruth Baker and Maryanna

Hunt.

She was like a mother to her Great Nephew Mark Baker, Jr., of Mount Laurel, and like a

grandmother to Mark's children: Morgan, Julianne, and Jacob Baker; and her great-grandson

Ben. Joan is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, March 6, 2026, at the Perinchief Chapels, 438

High Street, Mount Holly. Relatives and friends may attend her viewing on Friday from 10 a.m.

until 12 Noon at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Columbus Cemetery.
