Joan Virginia Kienzle

Joan V. Kienzle, age 89 passed away peacefully under hospice care on Saturday, October 1, 2022 in Lawrenceville, Georgia. She was born on December 12, 1932, in Cambridge, Massachusetts to Gerald J. and Olive Healy. She was preceded in death by her beloved identical twin, Jean, sisters, Joyce, Olive, brother, Richard and granddaughter Emily Tittel. She married Charles Kienzle on August 1, 1954 in Belmont, Massachusetts. They were happily married for 57 years and lived in Stone Mountain, Georgia for 35 years. They were active at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in both the Altar Society and the parish. Charles passed away in 2012. Joan was devoted to her husband and children. Surviving are her six children, Richard J. Kienzle, Karen (Richard) Tittel, Susan Nielsen, Jean Ann (Scott) Landrum, Charles W. Kienzle, Joseph (Carla) Kienzle; grandchildren, Karalyn, Nicholas and Christopher Bruschi, Melissa Bishop, Erin Byerly, Laura Adams, Lisa Cintron, James Tittel, Pablo, Javier, and Clara Kienzle, Eric and Daniel Nielsen, Jenny, Zachary, and Ethan Kienzle; great grandchildren, Blessed and Jahsiah Byerly, Leila and Gabriel Cintron, Olivia and Warren Kienzle, Adam Kienzle, Stefan Nielsen, Calian Adams, and three more that are arriving soon; and 2 nieces, Julie (Mark) Nichols, Beth (Mike) Babigian, nephew, Tommy (Heidi) Hogan. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Monday, the 10th of October at 10:30AM at St Benedict Catholic Church. Please join the family for a reception that will follow the mass at the Lodge at the Church.
