Joan Latoski, 89, of Dacono, Colorado, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025. She was born in Fort Morgan, Colorado, and throughout her life, she carried with her the strong values and deep love of family that defined her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Latoski, and by her nine siblings, each of whom she cherished deeply. Joan is survived by her children: Larry Harris and his wife Shirley, Lynn Latoski, Lonnie Latoski and his wife Cozan, and Lance Latoski. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Joan's greatest joy was being surrounded by her family. Whether in quiet moments or at lively gatherings, she cherished the time spent with those she loved most. She had a special passion for cooking, and her famous chocolate mayonnaise cake was a family favorite-often the centerpiece of celebrations and a sweet reminder of her love. Known for her welcoming spirit, she often said, "Just sit down and stay a while," a phrase that perfectly reflected her open heart and love for company.

Her warmth, kindness, and devotion will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.

Funeral services will be held at Heer Mortuary, 225 E. Platte Ave Fort Morgan, Colorado, on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Reception at The Block.
