Joan Marie Leidig

Joan Marie Leidig, 78, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on April 5, 2024, in Glen Burnie, Maryland. She was born on January 25, 1946, in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Wallace and Margaret Overton.

Joan lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments. She had a passion for crafting and a deep devotion to the Baltimore Ravens. Joan's creativity knew no bounds as she poured her heart into every project she undertook.

She is survived by her beloved husband Dennis W. Leidig, her son Martin W. Leidig and daughter-in-law Joy Leidig, her sister Patricia Sheckells, her grandson Zachary Leidig, and many loving nieces and nephews. Joan touched the lives of many with her kindness and gentle spirit.

Services to honor and celebrate Joan's life will be held on April 13, 2024. A visitation will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 4:00 PM at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services PA located at 1 2nd Ave SW in Glen Burnie, Maryland.

Joan will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace knowing that her memory will live on forever in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her dearly.
