Joan and Sheepie were our next door neighbors and a big part of my life growing up. Sandy was my best friend and playmate. Joan was always warm, fun, and so talented. She once built an entire set of roof trusses in the yard and helped Sheep get it on their truck to haul it to their farm in South Haven, Michigan. Going back to Indiana to see family, we always tried to make a visit to Joan and Sheep. She was a wonderful person and will be missed.

I want to say to Sue especially, how Joan and her husband Lawrence (Sheepie) were the fabric of our neighborhood growing up. So many neighbors come and go but the fabric stays and builds trust to all the newer fabrics that stick around. The Galloways and I would like to say thank you for being such good neighbors for so many years. Joan was smart as a tack in just the last week that I saw her. You will be missed Joan... Condolences to family and friends.
