Joan “Joni” Louise McEachran of Pine City passed away November 1, 2025 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, surrounded by the love of her family, at the age of 73.
She was born on February 29, 1952, at Bethesda Hospital in Saint Paul, Minnesota, to Louis and Ethel (Johnson) Weber.
Joni lived a life centered around the people and passions she cherished most. She found joy in the simple and beautiful moments sitting by the lake and taking in the peaceful view, fishing off the dock, and enjoying pontoon rides with those she loved. Dogs, music, children, and all things creative held a special place in her heart. She had a wonderful laugh and a lively spirit, known for her kindness as much as for her spark and sense of humor.
Her deep faith was a source of comfort and strength. Joni prayed for others often, holding many in her heart.
She is survived by her loving husband, Mike McEachran of Pine City; her children Mike (Debbie) Lentsch of Cambridge, Dan Lentsch of Pine City, Bryant (Teresa) Lentsch of Isanti, Mike Jr. (Ginny) McEachran of Willow River, and Bill McEachran of Lakeville; grandchildren Matthew, Brittany, Anyssa, Devon, Zach, Kyle, John, Adley, Kara, and Emersyn; great-granddaughter Millie; siblings Jan (Greg) LeMay of Lakeville, Tom (Nancy) Weber of Roseville; and many cherished nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Joni was welcomed into eternal rest by her parents, Louis and Ethel Weber.
She will be remembered always for the love she gave, the laughter she shared, and the warmth she brought to so many lives.
There will be a memorial service for Joni: 6:00-8:00 PM; Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Swanson Funeral Chapel of Pine City, Minnesota.
