Tracey Janet Barton

Tracey Barton passed away Sunday, October 26, 2025, at her home in Pine City due to complications from cancer at the age of 62.

Tracey Janet Soderbeck was born on June 27, 1963 to Roger and Hazel (Steinbach) Soderbeck in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She made friends easily because of her friendly nature and continued making friends through the rest of her life. Tracey’s son, Jimmy Keebs, was the pride and joy of her life.

Tracey’s final note to share with everyone: “Thank you all for being in my life. Life is a journey. My journey was a struggle at times, but I never gave up. With great family and great friends, you can make it through anything. Love to you all.”

Tracey is survived by her husband Jerold Barton; son Jimmy Keebs; brothers Tim Soderbeck, Todd Soderbeck; nieces Autumn Soderbeck, Jessica Soderbeck, Kaitlyn Soderbeck, Samantha Soderbeck, Karissa Soderbeck; nephew Parker Soderbeck; countless number of friends, many of whom were like family to her.

Tracey was preceded in death by parents Roger and Hazel Soderbeck; brother Terry Soderbeck; grandparents Carl and Hulda (Soderbeck) Setterlund, Jessie Steinbach, Alene Nord; uncles Glenn Steinbach, Ron Steinbach, Jerry Steinbach.

Funeral services for Tracey: 2:00 PM; Sunday, November 9th with one hour of visitation for family and friends prior to the service all at Swanson Funeral Chapel.
