Joan Mesecher Obituary
Joan was united in marriage to Kenneth Mesecher on June 9, 1951 at Zion Lutheran Church in Chisago City. She spent her later years traveling to Florida and later cruising to Mexico, Alaska, the Caribbean, and elsewhere. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and attending her great-grandchildren's sporting events.
Joan is survived by daughter Terry (Andy) Sandbeck; son Lonnie; grandchildren, Kristin (Bradley) Kruschwitz, Jason (Brandi) Sandbeck, Gregory (Rebecca) Geis, and Amanda (Tommy) Hudson; great-grandchildren, Alex, Jacob, Katelyn, Leo, Emery, and Hazel; son-in-law James Geis; many nieces and nephews, other extended family, and friends.
Joan is preceded in death by her parents; husband Kenneth, daughter Laurie Geis; brothers, Vernon Shoquist, Milan Shoquist, and sister June Mueller.
Private interment at Pleasant Prairie Cemetery.
