Joan Marie Osborne, 80, of West Chester, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at her residence.
Born in New York City on February 24, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas Vincent and Angela Rose (Ipri) Cassa. Joan graduated from Saint Katharine of Siena Catholic School in Wayne. She began her career as a traveling secretary for ANRO printing company, and after 30 years of service, proudly retired from that same company. Joan loved baking biscotti, cooking, and hosting family gatherings. She had a great love of plants and fresh flowers and always enjoyed spending time gardening. Most especially, Joan loved vacationing and spending time with her family at several beaches over the years, including the Outer Banks, which brought her so much joy.
Joan is survived by her daughter Kimberly Pulinka, wife of Joseph, of Dagsboro, DE; granddaughters Valerie Pulinka, Jenna Pulinka and Shanna Young; great grandchildren Brendan, Marcus, Brooke, Joeline, and great-great grandson Elijah; and cousins Keith Douglass and Richard Ipri. She was preceded in death by her daughter Erika Coull (Ken), her brother Robert Cassa, her cousin Joy Anderson, and her ex-spouse Malcolm Osborne.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025 at 11 AM at James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335. Visitation will be held from 9:45 am – 10:45 am prior to the service.
Honoring Joan's love of flowers, the family welcomes floral pieces sent to the funeral home for the service. For those wishing to make a donation, contributions may be made to Colorectal Cancer Alliance in her memory.
