Joan Mildred Sarver (Smelscer), age 87, of McCandless, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 surrounded by her family. Mother of Richard (Patty) Sarver, Greg Sarver, Jill (Greg) Rhoton, and Kelly Sarver. Preceded in death by her beloved husband George and son Jeffrey. Sister of Judy Borland, Bud (Doris) Smelscer, Karen Gerstner and the late Jack Smelscer. Daughter of the late Joseph and the late Mildred Smelscer. Grandmother of Ashley, Tyler, Jenna, Greg, Alexa, Katelyn and Ryan. Joan was a cherished mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. She always was mindful of others and put their needs over the needs of herself. Joan loved her dogs, doing puzzles, and especially spending time with her family. Services will be private. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements by DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC.
