Joann (Jo) Marie Blackson, 67, of Columbus, OH passed away on July 10, 2025. She was born on May 28, 1958 in Columbus, OH to Stephan and BonnaGene Blackson.
Joann is survived by daughter Katey Teale; sisters, Judiann Hounchell, Patty Blackson, and Janice Blackson; brother, James Blackson; nieces, Alice, Amanda ( David ) Melissa, Breanna; nephews. Steve, Paul, Steven, Matthew; great nieces and nephews, Brandon, Jordan (Elizabeth), Lenzie, Charles, Makena; great great nephews and nieces, Jaydien, Zoey, Jaxson, Isabella, Dakota, Jameson, and Nolan.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Stephan and BonnaGene Blackson; and her beloved fur babies Max and Zoey.
Jo was a generous spirit, she always offered her help, supported whatever you wanted. She was there with no questions, she gave her shoulder when needed to cry, a big hug and said love you always. loved being around her family, and always had a sly remark that we didn’t ask for. We love you Joey and will be tremendously missed.
