JoAnn Cacciapuoti (Leone), 79, of Weymouth, MA passed away on Sunday, February 9th at Mass General Hospital in Boston.
JoAnn was born on May 15, 1945, to the late Ralph and Josephine (Nowicki) Leone in Boston. After JoAnn graduated from Medford High School in 1964, she went on to a secretarial school.
JoAnn met the love of her life, Fred and they married on February 26, 1967. They lived in North Easton for 44 years, where they raised their 2 sons, Paul and Mark.
JoAnn was predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Josephine Leone, her mother-in-law, Helen Giordano, and her sister and brother-in-law Virginia and Cirilo Sanchez.
JoAnn enjoyed making cookies, doing puzzles and going on long walks. She was a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, and very proud Grams. JoAnn is survived by her husband, Fred of Weymouth, son, Paul and his wife Alecia of Bridgewater, her son, Mark of Weymouth and her grandchildren; Sophia, Fred, Isabella, Noah, Alexander Cacciapuoti and Danielle and Austin Battista. And many beloved nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. She loved her immediate and extended family.
Following Cremation, A Memorial Gathering will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt28) West Bridgewater on Wednesday, February 12th from 1:00PM-4:00PM.
