Mrs. Joann Williams Draggs was born on September 6, 1971, to Leroy Williams and Lizzie Williams in Griffin, Georgia. Joann received her formal education at Griffin High School in Griffin, Georgia.

Joann accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age at the age of 30 years old, and was united with Life Tabernacle of Praise Church.

Ms. Joann Williams was united in holy matrimony with Mr. Ronnie Draggs on February 14, 2012, in Griffin Spalding County, Georgia.

Mrs. Joann Williams Draggs was employed by Louise Cafeteria for 20 years, and Gritz for 3 years. In her leisure time Joann loved dancing, going to Church and spending time with her family and friends.

On Thursday, September 18, 2025, Mrs. Joann Williams Draggs name was called, and she answered and was free from all sickness and pain. Rest now in peace and comfort, your journey has ended, battle fought, and victory won. She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Williams, her brother, Jimmy Lee Williams, her aunts, Betty Watkins, Patricia Watkins, Ruby Watkins, and Jerry Watkins.

Mrs. Joann Williams Draggs leaves a legacy of memories to be cherished in the heart of her husband, Ronnie Draggs, bonus children, Demeia Lashae Willingham, and Brianna Kierria Dennis; brother, Ellis Sands; sisters, Linda Williams, Vickie Williams, and Eula Williams, aunt, Moteen Williams, her uncle, Larry (Darlene) Watkins, and her favorite niece, Vanessa Williams. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins that will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Burden's Funeral Home. Service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Burden's Funeral Home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service hour. Bishop D. C. Watson is the Eulogist.
