JoAnn E. Myers

JoAnn E. Myers, 73, of New Bloomfield, passed away Wednesday January 24, 2024 at Northern Dauphin Nursing & Rehabilitation.
Born September 12, 1950, in Mechanicsburg, she was a daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Putt) Kauffman. On August 31, 1973, JoAnn married Rodney L. Myers, with whom she has shared a devoted union of 50 years.
While JoAnn made creating a warm and nurturing home for her family her priority, she had also worked at Synertech, Harrisburg, for several years. She was a 1969 graduate of East Pennsboro High School and enjoyed sewing, quilting and cooking.
JoAnn is survived by her husband, Rodney; daughters, Shannon Callaghan and her husband Russell Callaghan, Jr. and Melanie Fuller and her husband Shawn Fuller, all of Duncannon; six grandchildren, who were her life, Kayla, Sarah, Megan, Brooke, Shawn, Jr. and Rilee; and four great grandchildren, Caison, Maverick, Rory and Tegan. She is also survived by a sister, Judith "Judy" Zarker of Mechanicsburg. In addition to her parents, JoAnn was also preceded in death by a brother, John Kauffman, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for her viewing on Saturday February 3, 2024 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Ronald C.L. Smith Funeral Home, 325 North High Street, Duncannon, followed by her funeral service at 1:00 P.M.
