He was a graduate of the class of 1972 at East Pennsboro Area High School. Charlie retired from Yingst Homes, Inc. in December 2019. Charlie was a member of the East Pennsboro Lions Club, Enola Sportsman's Club and Enola Emmanuel United Methodist Church. He served on East Pennsboro Township Planning and Zoning Commission for 11 years, East Pennsboro Township Commissioner for 12 years and most recently on the Civil Service Commission. Charlie coached basketball at EPYAL and enjoyed attending all his grandchildren's activities and watching Sportsman and Sprint Car racing at Silver Spring Speedway and Williams Grove Speedway. He was a Hendrick Motorsports fan, Pittsburgh Steelers fan and Penn State fan. Most of all, Charlie was a family man and always looked forward to family vacations in Wildwood, New Jersey. Charlie was always there for his family. He also loved street rods and muscle cars including his '69 Camaro.
Charlie will be forever missed.
Visitation will be held at Enola Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 22 Salt Road, Enola, PA 17025 on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Services will start at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be held after the service at Rolling Green Cemetery, 1811 Carlisle Road, Camp Hill, PA. 17011
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 2708 Commerce Dr., Suite 300, Harrisburg, PA 17110 or Enola Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 22 Salt Road, Enola, PA 17025.

I remember all the years we went to East Pennsboro together. We had some fun times. We only lived a few blocks from each other on North Enola Drive. I ended up marry Ken McCann year of graduation and having a daughter. Both have now past and I now live in Alabama with my fiance Chris and son Alex. My maiden name is Conway.
