JoAnn was born in Columbus Ohio on May 5, 1947, and grew up in Summit Station. She attended Licking Heights schools and received her GED the year her daughter graduated high school in 1984. JoAnn received many certificates and awards over the years from her many years of working in hospitals and various positions in healthcare and learning many new jobs in the healthcare field.
JoAnn is preceded in death by her parents James and Rosemary Shipley, sister and brother-in-law Jackie and Ross Hess, brother James Shipley Jr., grandson Jackson Reeves, mother and father-in-law Dorothy and Danny Boley, brothers in law Jack Reeves, Ernie Bell, Bob Bell, and sister-in-law Delores Reeves
JoAnn is survived by her husband of 50+ years, Jim Reeves, daughter Donna Blair, son Kevin (Aimee) Reeves, Son Steve (Jill) Reeves, grandchildren, Rodney Blair, Brandon Jenkins, Zach Jenkins, Eden Reeves, Sammy Reeves, Lucas Reeves. great-grandchildren Lilly Blair, Bruce Jenkins, Braxton Jenkins, Isabella Jenkins. Many extended family and friends. I
JoAnn enjoyed watching westerns with her husband, taking long rides, watching football, especially the Buckeyes and her most favorite of all was going fishing.
JoAnn will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Friends may call Wednesday, March 12, 2025, 5-7 PM EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E. Livingston Ave. Graveside services and interment will be held Thursday, March 13, 2025, 1:00 PM Forest Lawn Cemetery.
