Jo Ann Williams, 90, of Greenwood went to be with her Lord Wednesday, August 27th, 2025 in Decatur, Texas.

Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Greenwood with burial at Greenwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Tracy Epting will officiate. Pallbearers include Dustin Wilson, Devin Wilson, Chace Williams, Brian Moore, Shawn Hess, and Darrell Claytor. Honorary pallbearers include Jack Teague, John Teague, and M.G. Teague.

Jo Ann was born October 26th, 1934 to Lovick Bernard and Della Mae (Dill) Coker in Barry, Texas. She was united in marriage December 19th, 1954 to Bobby Carroll Williams in Corsicana, Texas. JoAnn worked for over 40 years in the Slidell Independent School District as a bus driver. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Greenwood, a 4-H leader and also a softball coach for 10 years. JoAnn was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Della Mae Coker, her husband, Bobby Carroll Williams; and her brother, Bernard Lee Coker.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Tim Williams and wife Maggie of Greenwood; her daughter, Kim Biggerstaff of Lake Kiowa; her grandchildren, Dustin Wilson and wife Blair of Denton, Chace Williams, Meghan Hess and husband Shawn of Muenster, Devin Wilson and wife Carly of Brock; great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Brock, Case, and Finley Wilson of Denton, Cru and Jozie Wilson of Brock, Emma, Heston, Harper, and Hattie Hess of Muenster; her sister-in-law, Sandy McCormick of Medford, Oregon; extended family and a host of friends.
