Joanne Barta Obituary
Joanne was born on October 3, 1942, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Sylvester and Lucille (Lambert) Barta. She was a graduate of Mishicot High School with the class of 1960 and a 1963 graduate of Holy Family School of Nursing. Joanne worked as a Registered nurse at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center all of her career until her retirement. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and reading. Joanne was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and The Churches Rosary Society.
Joanne is survived by cousins, neighbors, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Sylvester and Lucille Barta; and one brother and sister-in-law: John (Myrtis) Barta.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, August 28, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 522 Tower Ave, Kellnersville. The Rev. Santiago Turiano Jr will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow in the Parish Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of services at 11:00 am.

Joanne would like to thank all of the residents of the Village of Kellnersville and the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice for helping and supporting her, in her final months.
