Joanne Marie De Santis

Joanne DeSantis, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on April 20, 2025, at the age of 69. Born in Lakewood, Ohio, Joanne made her home in Atlanta, Georgia, where she built a beautiful life centered around love, family, and community.

Joanne shared 44 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Vince. Together, they raised two daughters, Jackie and Stephanie, who were the light of her life. Joanne was also a proud and adoring grandmother to Aidan, Joseph, John, and Skye, who brought her endless joy. She also loved her grand-puppies Sandy, Charlie, Ella, and Mini.

Joanne was more than a guiding light for her family at home, she was also the glue that held together her work family at Harry Norman Realtors. Her compassionate nature and support made her a cornerstone of the team. She brought out the best in others simply by being herself, a listener and an amazing friend.

Her passions were simple but full of heart. Some of her greatest joys came from watching her grand kids play soccer and baseball, cheering loudly from the sidelines. She also had a passion for travel, with Cape San Blas holding a special place as a favorite family vacation filled with laughter, sunsets, and memories we'll carry forever.

Joanne had a warmth that drew people in. She never met a stranger, and her kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. She was cherished deeply and will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, generous heart, and the way she made every person feel like family.

She is survived by her husband Vince, her daughters Jackie (Jason), and Stephanie. Her grandchildren Aidan, Joseph, John and Skye. Her sister Bea (Steve) and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, all of whom will continue to feel her love in every part of their lives. She was preceded in death by her father, George, her Mother Theresa and her brother David.

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation.
