Joanne M. Johnson nee Bell, born October 11, 1952, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, on Monday, November 24th at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland.
Joanne was raised in Greenwich Twp. She married the love of her life, Richard C. Johnson, Jr. in 1971 and resided in Hopewell Twp.Together they had three beautiful children who they loved dearly; Richard, III, Ryan, and Jennifer. Joanne loved watching her children and grandchildren play sports and was there to always cheer them on. Joanne loved coaching softball and basketball. She enjoyed going to Florida to stay with her son and fishing off the docks. She also enjoyed crafting, watching the cooking channel, taking trips and spending time with her Shih Tzu, Minnie Pearl. Joanne always had a smile on her face and it would really light up whenever any of her family entered her room.
Joanne was a long time member of Maranatha Baptist Church, where she worked for the Maranatha Baptist School until its closing. She then worked for the church until 2012.
She is survived by; her three children, Richard C. Johnson III (Keisha) of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Ryan C. Johnson of Hopewell Twp. and Jennifer Frazer (John Jr.) of Hopewell Twp.; her loving sister, Diane Newton (Douglas) of Greenwich Twp.; her brother, Robert (Ted) Bell (Kathy) of OK; five grandchildren that were the lights of her life, Jonah Frazer of GA, Juliana Frazer of Hopewell Twp., Jenna Frazer of VA, Jorja Frazer of Hopewell Twp. and Natalie Johnson of OH. She was preceded in death by; her parents, Joseph and Caroline Bell; her husband, Richard C. Johnson, Jr.; and her brother, Joseph Bell.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, November 28th. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. following the services.
