Joanne Kohn Obituary
Joanne and Sid were married for more than 30 years and were devoted to each other. Joanne enjoyed traveling especially weekends away at small inns. She also enjoyed treats from Dunkin Donuts! Joanne loved animals.
For more than 30 years, Joanne was employed as a legal secretary for Stern, Steiger, Croland, Tanenbaum and Schielke law firm.
Joanne is survived by her beloved son, Michael Lawson and his fiance Tara New of New Rochelle, NY, her devoted sister, Ruth Ann (DeGraaf) Stouter of Wyckoff, NJ and nieces and nephews who will miss her.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne. Interment will follow at the Fair Lawn Cemetery, Fair Lawn. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations can be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
