Rita Iannicelli

Iannicelli, Rita (nee Mainardi), age 88 of Ramsey, on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.

Born in Paterson, Rita resided in Waldwick before moving to Ramsey about 30 years ago. Rita worked in telecommunications at Liberty Travel in Paramus, and then later with Liberty Travel at their Ramsey location. She had also had a second job with Valley Hospital in the medical records department.

Rita was an active parishioner at St. Paul's R.C. Church in Ramsey. She served the parish as a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the Rosary Society. Rita was also active at the Ramsey Senior Center where she enjoyed knitting and other projects with the Crafty Ladies. She also volunteered as Eucharistic Minister at Valley Hospital

Rita Iannicelli was the beloved mother of Desiree Orsino and her husband Joe of Waldwick, and Russell Iannicelli and his wife Rhonda of Katy, TX. Loving grandmother of Salvatore Orsino and his fiancé Molly of Park Ridge, and Michelle Le and her husband Heinz of Ramsey, and step grandmother of Lexi and Zoe Frausto of Katy, TX. Dear sister of Vilma Keating and her husband Charles of Wyckoff, and Carol Ann Nastos of Paramus. She is also survived by her grand dog Daisy.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00am of Friday, February 13, 2026 meeting at St. Paul's R.C Church, 200 Wyckoff Avenue, Ramsey, NJ. Cremation will be private. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge.
