Lyndonville, VT: Joanne M. Langmaid, age 78, of Crystal Lane, passed peacefully at the Pines Health & Rehab, Sunday, July 20, 2025, following a recent decline.
Joanne was born in St. Johnsbury, VT, on August 25, 1946, daughter to the late Perley H. and Mabel A. (Noyes) Densmore. She grew up in North Danville and Lyndonville graduating from St. Johnsbury Academy in the Class of 1964. Joanne worked for North East Tool as a machinist for many years and moved with the company to North Carolina. Upon retirement, she and her husband, David, retired to Florida. They snow-birded for many years until his passing in March of 2020 at which time Joanne moved back to Lyndonville. She enjoyed golfing, and played league bowling, loved camping and took many cruises with David.
She is survived by her daughter: Tammy Williams and her fiancé Randy Peart, of Sheffield, step-children: Jeff Langmaid and wife Susan of NY, Gary Langmaid and wife Barbara of NM, her sister: Gail Paradis of FL and Concord, VT, 5 grandchildren: Jessica Pearsons (Ryan Fox), Tyler Lamont (Casey) Davey Lamont (Kate), Dylan Williams and Bryana Williams (Kyle Adams), 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no public calling hours. A Graveside Service will take place at 11AM on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Lyndon Center Cemetery in Lyndonville with a Celebration of Life to held from 2-4PM at the VFW on Hill Street in Lyndonville.
