It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joanne Alexander Miceli on March 16, 2025, at the age of 62. Joanne is survived by her daughters, Erin and Ronin, her sister Beth and brother-in-law Barney Foltman, and their children, as well as a large and loving extended family.
Joanne was born and raised in Rye, New York, where she cherished her childhood in a close-knit neighborhood filled with laughter and adventure. She fondly remembered her days at the Rye Golf Club and the spirited football games with friends, as well as the special tradition of Halloween celebrations with family and friends. Summers spent at the family house in Nova Scotia were also among her most cherished memories, as she enjoyed unbridled summer fun with her sister and cousins, who were like siblings to her.
After attending Resurrection Grammar School, the School of the Holy Child, the Fashion Institute of Technology, and Iona College. Joanne began her professional career at Morgan Stanley before finding her true passion and success at Hilton, where she traveled the world. Despite her accomplishments, Joanne considered her greatest achievement to be the birth of her daughters, Erin and Ronin, who brought immeasurable joy to her life.
A celebration of Joanne's life will be held on Thursday, March 20 from 4-7 pm at Graham Funeral Home, 1036 Boston Post Rd. Rye, NY. A funeral Mass will be held at The Church of the Resurrection, 910 Boston Post Rd. Rye, NY on Friday, March 21 at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations can be made to the POLG Foundation, 99 Park Avenue, 24th Floor, New York, NY 10016, a cause close to Joanne's heart.
