On Saturday, July 11, 2020, Joanne Marie Niemczyk, loving wife and mother of three children, passed away at the age of 62. Joanne was born on October 3rd, 1957 in Forest Lake, MN to Anthony “Tony” and Geneva “Neva” Niemczyk. Joanne was a graduate of Forest Lake High School in 1976 and of Anoka Technical College with a degree in Licensed Practical Nursing in 1978. She then married Dr. Christopher Ceman on September 28, 1986 and together they owned a Family Health Clinic in Forest Lake and then moved to Phillipsburg, Kansas in 2001. They raised three sons, Tony, Zach, and Chris, and two stepsons, Damien and Gabe. Joanne was a saint. She loved her family and the animals that came with it. Muffin, Snuffy, Maddie, Sadie, Yoda, Zeus and Bob to name a few. She was a caregiver to all and there was not a bad bone in her body. She helped out with all of the boys’ activities and even coached the cheerleading team in Phillipsburg. Her true happiness came from getting to see and talk to her boys as well as being an amazing Grandma to her grandchildren. Willow and Charley will always know what a beautiful and kind soul she was. There is a special place in heaven for a mother of three boys and she deserves it. Joanne was preceded in death by her father, Anthony “Tony” Niemczyk. She is survived by her mother, Geneva “Neva”; her husband, Christopher Sr. (who passed away September 6, 2020); her three sons, Tony, Zach, and Chris Jr.; her stepsons, Damien and Gabe; and her brothers and sister, Mike, Joe, Andy, Christine, and Vince; along with several cousins, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren Willow and Charley.  A family service was held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 in Hugo, MN and the recording is available to view on this obituary page. There will also be a Celebration of Life streamed on Facebook at Joanne Niemczyk Ceman Life Celebration on October 3rd in Phillipsburg, Kansas.
